Look and you will find
In October:
The colours are fewer and farther between,
Still vibrant still spectacular but harder to be seen
The days are getting shorter, the nights are closing in,
The temperatures are getting cooler and grey is starting to win
Yet nature still abounds, the deer lively and shy,
the leaves are damp and cold, not crisp and dry
The trees are losing their summer outfit of green
and prefering a disguise where their branches are seen
